2010 Red Sox Pick'Em

I just adjusted Youk's HRs so he projects 19 HRs due to his season ending injury. All other projections are based on 162 games played.

How's this for a newspaper mistake. The Globe reported last night's 7-2 Yankee win as a 7-2 Red Sox win. They show the Sox five games out instead of seven games, with an extra win for the Sox and an extra loss for the Yankees. It even says Red Sox 7 Yankees 2 in the results. Wow.

Dice K pitching today. Maybe I won't watch the first inning.

I think the Captain made a statement last night ...When Beckett pitches, I catch. Everybody gets energized.
And ....when they say baseball is a game of inches, we should also breathe a sigh of relief that line drive at Beckett's head wasn't an inch lower!

Since when did it ever become OK to dog out ground balls, anyway? We’ve watch Manny and Papi do this over the years. I always grinded it out 100% in the event the throw is a little off or the firstbaseman briefly bobbles the ball.

Papi always cuts down to this three mile an hour jog about half way down the line. Why is that allowed?
